Jody Bergsma is an author and illustrator of many children's books and is an internationally acclaimed artist. After having nightmares at the young age of three, her mother suggested that she draw her nightmares. Jody soon discovered that the monsters weren't so scary especially if colored in green and pink. "DRAGON" is her first written and illustrated book. She has gone on to illustrate other notable books such as Sky Castle, Dreambirds, and The Right Touch: A Read-Aloud Story to Help Prevent Child Sexual Abuse.  Her successful Bergsma Gallery in Bellingham, WA offers limited edition prints, art cards and other gift items.
