ABOUT THE COVER ART:
Emergence was featured in a December 2005 exhibition at New Dawn Books’ Art Shanti Gallery entitled “Recovery Process.” It’s from a series of narrative acrylic paintings on unprimed, unstretched colored canvas that explores the space in between . . . tragedy and triumph, conquest and surrender, torment and transcendence. I work in many media and processes, including sculpture, ceramics, craft, and computer graphic design and illustration. I teach art, am an avid reader, a published writer and lifelong learner.
